Chad Dechow shares a message entitled “Not Ours to Bear,” in which he challenges the notion that we are obstacles between Christ and the world, rather than a bridge between them.  We are called to be witnesses, but we are not responsible for the salvation of others.

Jesus not only called us to love God with everything we have, He also called us to love others as much as we love and care for ourselves.  It’s not just the heart of worship, it’s the heartbeat of worship.

Jesus said that a life of worship could be summed up by loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and loving others as we love ourselves.  It may be more challenging than it first appears, but it brings us to the very heart of worship!
