We were created to enjoy a relationship with God and with other people. In fact, without relationships, life can be very empty. We value relationships at Watermarke. Relationships help us to grow and provide support for us during the difficult times of life. Our goal is for everyone who attends Watermarke to be involved in a small group, where relationships can flourish.
Types of Groups There are three main types of groups at Watermarke: Study Groups—these are medium size groups that meet for a predetermined amount of time (generally 4-6 weeks) to study a particular topic (parenting, finances, a book of the Bible, etc.). This group provides a great connection between our Sunday celebration service and small group community. Growth Groups—Growth Groups exist to promote the development of significant Christian relationships, centered around the study of God's word. Group size is 4 or more and are mixed. LTG (Life Transformation Groups) Groups—these are groups of 2 or 3 (men with men, women with women) who meet for mutual accountability, Bible reading, and outreach.
How to Become a Part of a Group Groups meet at various times and places throughout the week. We would love to talk with you and find out what kind of group you are interested in. Contact the church office and we’ll plug you in.
